Carl Christian Gilhuus-Moe joined NeoMed Management in 1998 and is currently a Senior Advisor. He has over 25 years experience of venture capital and operations in healthcare in Europe and the US.

Previously Carl Christian was President and CEO of Dynal AS, a Norwegian biotechnology firm, now part of Life Technologies Corp. Under his leadership, Dynal became an international and profitable firm with subsidiaries in the US, Japan, Australia, France, Germany and the UK. Prior to this, he held a number of management positions at Nycomed, most recently as Head of the Diagnostics Division.

Carl Christian was Chairman of the Board of the European Committee for Clinical Laboratory Standardisation and Board member of SINTEF-Unimed, the medical section of the Norwegian Institute of Technology. He was also elected Fellow of the US National Academy of Clinical Biochemistry. 

Carl Christian has been a board member of Alertis Medical AS, Clavis Pharma ASA, Harbinger Medical, Inc. and NeoRad AS and currently serves on the board of directors of JenaValve Technology GmbH.

Carl Christian holds a Ph.D. degree in Biochemistry from the University of Oslo, Norway. He studied Business Management at the Swedish Institute of Management and at MIT, US.
